Project Day: I Found Some Driftwood !

I found the most wonderful piece of driftwood while walking along the beach the other day. It was so textured and worn. I just could not let it go. But what would I do with it? Here's what. I grabbed some fairy lights and, starting from the bottom, I wound them all the way to the top. So so easy to do. So so very lovely at night. Have a great weekend everyone.

  1. OOOh, that looks lovely - what a great idea. Right, I'm off to the beach today...but don't think we get quite the same beautiful driftwood washed up from the Thames estuary as in Queensland...sigh.

  5. I just found your blog and I love it! I live by the beach for 6 years and had to move away 2 years ago. Your style reminds me of why I love the beach so much and makes me want to incorporate it in my home again too. I love that you salvage and recycle too! Makes me want to be crafty again. Thanks for the inspirtation!!
