Recently we purchased a little yellow boat that sits moored out the front of our house. The previous owner offered it to us first seeing it was close to our property. It was the colour that had me. So when I saw this cane chair for sale in the same shade I couldn't resist. Now they both sit out the front to keep each other company. This is my first experience co-ordinating decor with land and sea. What do you think?
I think it's PERFECTION!! Just like everything else on this blog!
ReplyDeleteLucky you, I'd love to live that close to the ocean! I love your new yellow loves.
ReplyDeleteWe live in Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast, we're only a few minutes drive to the beach. We're hosting an exchange student from Switzerland in July, and she was so excited to learn she'd live in a "beachside city" for the next year.
I love all your DIY projects you've been sharing Simone! I'm a huge fan of your blog.
I am so jealous! Is that water out in front of your home??? Here in Texas we don't see that too often. Lake fronts are primarily for the weekend and very, very pricey, and ocean front is very far away and even more pricey!! Please know how lucky you are!! Plus Yellow is my all time favorite color! Yes, even over Pink!! :) Kim
ReplyDeleteits most fabulous and I want to sit there with a cup of tea and a book!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect, delightful, and I see hues of yellow in the water too. It must be wonderful to sit there and enjoy the water!
ReplyDeleteI love this image. It's beautiful and a few little storm clouds make it perfect!
ReplyDeleteI too think it looks the perfect spot for peaceful reflection and sitting with a good book. And the yellow goes nicely with blue and pink as well! I would love to live so near the water! That is my dream!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect spot to sit an enjoy an afternoon drink - what a view! Tracey xx

ReplyDeletewell, i could say that any colored boat is pretty awesome, then tack on the fact that its a sunny, gorgeous yellow and you've pretty much scored on 2 counts....then ADD to THAT a lovely yellow cane chair and a house on the sea....yep...head just exploded.
