.....every single one of these cushions. I also love how the chenille blanket is just casually laid on top of the day bed. I am using this photo as inspiration for my new deck makeover. Will show you the finished project soon. Does anyone know where I can get cushions or covers like these?

i am loving those as well....the colors are so so amazing...that tray on the table is also something i would like.. can't wait to see your deck...i know it will be just as lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the pretty cushions! I know you can get some pretty fabric from spotlight & you can make the cushions to suit you!
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see your finished deck!
I don't but I want you to find out for us, Simone! They are truly lovely. My friend Lesley from The Pink Princess Blog makes gorgeous cushions as well but not as bright as these. I'm sure she could! She uses vintage materials and does a lot of floral work. Lucky Simone's deck! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's too beautiful - you'd never want to leave!
ReplyDeletegorgeous photo! love all the colours & the pink & green pots..it looks like vintage fabric, very beach vintage.. thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm i'll put my thinking cap on!

Hi Simone, that is stunning cannot wait to see your finished deck I might have to put that photo in my file for my wish list too, loving the cushion in the far back right I am on a mission for you now to hunt down the cushions or similar fabric.....
ReplyDeleteOh such pretty colours!
ReplyDeleteSorry am not much help regarding the cushions..
I love the cushions - no idea where you would get them from - I love the contrasting reds and blues.
ReplyDeleteIs that a mirror behind the couch? - doesn't it give depth and interest - love it!
This is my dream verandah without a doubt. I collect vintage fabrics like these. You can trawl regularly through ebay or etsy and Im sure you will come accross the like. When my boys are older and not so grubby I want to make my back verandah a haven like this. My next blog post will be on some of my favourite vintage fabrics in my collection (When I find the time with my two terrors on school holidays!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding me of one of my dreams!
Irene x
wow!! are they painted?? like silk painting types??
ReplyDeleteI like the tray!
Hi Simone, that sunroom/deck area is divine and its definetly the cushinons that make it. I would recommend looking for some vintage table cloths or barkcloth. I have some old vintage fabric like that but I haven't got the heart to cut it up yet and make cushions. I'm sure you find somthing similiar. Good luck Sandy
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, happy cushions. If I spot anything similar I will let you know! Have a great week. Julie
ReplyDeleteWhat about using some vintage tea towels. I have just ordered an apron through a fellow blogger and the floral pattern is not too different. Good luck. Kind regards, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteso comfy.... for a nice afternoon nap :)
ReplyDeleteThis room is stunning!
ReplyDeleteWish I could help you with your quest, when you find out please share!
I like everything about this room, right down to the vintage looking floral tray!
You seriously should compile this blog into a book! Since Shabby Chic is no longer functioning much to the sadness of many, I come here for my fix.
Can't wait to see your make-over!
I am sorry Simone i don't if you find some please let me know too! They remind me of some of the prints from LAzy Bones... x
ReplyDeleteOo-la-la! Very pretty! Look on ebay and Etsy for pretty cushions! ♥
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful would it eb to curl up there with sweet tea and a good book?
ReplyDeleteI would try flea markets or antique shops that carry vintage material for the covers.
You may just have to make 'em, Simone! Get out your cute little sewing machine and go crazy!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Somewhere expensive, I hazard a guess! But I bet you could get the same look from old table clothes & bed linens...
ReplyDeletem ^..^
The cushions are really pretty! I know where you could get cushions like that made - me! However, I feel certain there is someone much closer to you that could do them as well.
ReplyDeleteThese cushions are gorgeous. Love them! I really love the coffee table!
ReplyDeletelovely pillows! you should have a look at Ulrika May on http://www.ulrikamay.com/, she makes looovely things :) have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteI simply love this! I audibly sighed when I saw it. Very relaxing and very beautiful. I would assume you could just get fabric yardage (upholstery/drapery fabric)or sheeting and make simple pillow covers. Maybe using ribbon or cord for corner ties. Any pillow form would work...even if it's something you've had with another pattern. I too am inspired to create such a retreat. Just gorgeous and can't wait to see your results. Pamela :O)
ReplyDeleteI can make cushions like this.. and I use to make and sell them on ebay a while ago. Let me know what you are looking for and we can talk.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this porch too.. It is so peaceful.
Mechelle
how about a material shop or upholstery shop?
ReplyDeleteI've seen the one w/ the blue background, that seems to be a common pattern... I bet u can find similar ones like that.
Oh my, so gorgeous - I would love to have a porch like this :)

Hi Simone!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful inspiration for your deck makeover and I can't wait to see what you do!
Beautiful photo full of all kinds of inspiration. Not sure that we have seen that type of floral fabric around town but thinking Vinnies may have some vintage sheets or curtains that might suit the theme. Good luck with all your plans, it is sure to be fun what ever you get up to.
ReplyDeleteHi Simone, thanks for your comments. I will be hopefully listing tonight. The cushions are fab. I would think they are made from vintage curtain fabric maybe. I have a girlfriend who has some that are very similar and this is what she made them from. They are just gorgous.cheers Katherine
ReplyDeleteI can't help with your question, but I think the flower pattern is great :).
ReplyDeletePlease stop by my blog I have an award for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you - I love those cushions! I'll bet some of them are made from vintage tablecloths. The whole porch looks so inviting - can't wait to see your finished project!
ReplyDeleteRobin
