Brocante Run Run Run

image via Paumes book Paris Brocante

This is a real vintage shop in Paris called "Emilie". Isn't it just wonderful. Tell me, where would you run to first? What would you grab? I am going for the dresses up the back.

  1. Oh, so nice, I could spend hours and hours in a store like that! I could spend hours here with you just perusing the picture!
It all looks so enticing, and since I'm not really in the market for anything special, the things that are calling out to me are the chandeliers, the little stool or chair in the back on the right, the frames, the chair and the rose picture up front, but mostly, I think I would make a bee-line straight for any bits of lace or vintage material that were there, I have a weak spot for that most.
    Great picture!
    Great post!

    To answer your question:
The mirrors in the back right hand corner keep drawing my attention.

  5. Oh, I want to go there right this moment. I love that chair in the front, and would definitely need to take a peek at that china set. I'm a sucker for pretty plates! But I especially like the idea of digging for buried treasures that aren't apparent upon first glance. Wonderful photo!

  6. I would race you for the dresses, Simone and I'd grab that sweet little footstool and slippers/shoes and then the dressing table-mirror. The floral painting/print and the shoes above it as well. Perhaps I should just make it easier and move in there? Lovely shop!
