Oh how I wish I had all these beautiful quilts to choose from to keep me warm tonight. I love the idea of the Armoire with the 'open look' doors so you can see everything inside. I must get round to doing this one day. Meanwhile I would love to steal those slippers, grab a blanket and read a book. But with so much happening today I will be lucky enough to read the takeaway menu tonight for dinner.
oOOoh, beautiful image...LOVE those quilts :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This is my big sister's dream, I can't wait to to tell her to pop over and see the cuteness!!! THX!
ReplyDeletem ^..^
oh I LOVE quilts too!but here in germany they aro so expensive...*sigh*.Sunny greetings from hot hot germany, geisslein
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of quilts - the fabrics are just gorgeous! Leigh
ReplyDeleteSomewhere along the way, a big section of my quilt armoire was commandeered for the tv. Aaaargh. A good case for a flat panel to go on the wall, yes?
ReplyDeleteI love that image. I covet an Amoire but my little brick is too tiny sadly to fit one and myself at the same time. Perhaps I could get a baby-sized one? And how glorious is the tutu? xx
ReplyDeleteThose quilts look specially inviting on this cold and rainy night (in Melbourne). Gorgeous picture!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely. I would love to have so many quilts to choose from.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably become obsessed with trying new bedding combinations endlessly, but there are worse obsessions to have!
love love love the tu tu!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the ballet dress, too.
ReplyDeleteOkay, it took me awhile to get past the pretty little dress and the outstanding hanger that displays it, and also the footboard (I think it's a footboard to a bed?) in the foreground, before I could even notice the slippers and quilt on it, nevermind the armoire and the beautiful quilts it is housing!
ReplyDeleteExceptional! Thanks for sharing!
so pretty. although i might consider that a quilt obsession. still, gives a whole new meaning to changing the bed. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I've started collecting a few quilts [vintage lookalikes] and would also love a cupboard like these to display them. Pretty pretties!
ReplyDeleteI have that issue and how I have longed for an armoire full of beautiful quilts like those too. Such beautiful colours. The lady made them all herself!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cold rainy winters night here too. Keep warm :)

Hi, Simone! Oh I love that look, too! I can't imagine having so many great and colorful linens just sitting there! ♥
ReplyDeleteO.k., organization is my downfall. It would be quite amusing for all to see inside my linen closet...not so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree!
ReplyDeleteI too want this many beautiful quilts to choose from and there's something about a quilt that makes me want to cuddle up with a good book.
I could take any of those quilts... love them! And love to have one folded at the end of the bed. I have a very worn out one from my great grandma that I can't bear to part with.

ReplyDeleteYou'll have to share with me...by the way, how would one know if they were looking at Barkcloth? I may be sitting on a treasure trove of the stuff! Kind regards, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI luv that armoire too, and most especially the tutu dress and the ballerina shoes! Simply adorable photo Simone!

I like the open shelf idea too..., and wish I had a wonderful nautical quilt to keep me warm right now. It's wet and cold here!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous picture!! I love the dress hanging from the door!
ReplyDeleteHi Simone,
ReplyDeleteThe quilts are gorgeous and I love that sweet tulle dress hanging from the Armoire. Hope you find some time to relax a little today.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture. What I would give for an armoire filled with vintage quilts like this one. Katex
ReplyDeleteMe too, but the problem is, I would have to HAVE all those lovely things to see!!! :) KIM
ReplyDeleteThose quilts seem specially and completely lovely
ReplyDeleteOh how I've always wanted an armoire like that with whitewashed chicken wire in the doors to show off all the quilts (which I want more of) and vintage table linens (which I can't stop buying)I would store in it! And, I have no idea where I would put it - but I want it!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
i wanna have that hanging dress. so cute and colorful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image but more so your thoughts about celebrating the beauty of our collections, large or small they deserve an opportunity to shine.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. Must've missed that issue! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, AU is too far away to shop at our Little French Flea. I'll be sure to post pics from that day, though!
