Rug? Look Closer.

I discovered this tiled Mosaic rug by designer Katherine Krug. Isn't it just amazing? Can you imagine how long this would take to complete. I could only dream of having this in my planned bathroom renovation. The colours and design are just so beautiful. I would ditch all my old bath mats instantly to have this.

  1. WOW! My biggest fear would be that I'd someday have to move away & leave it. That's the prettiest thing (made by human hands) I've seen in a long, long time.

  7. Toooooo, tooooo lovely and something I've always wanted to do. Our tiny, hideous, patched up, tiles falling off the walls bathroom may be the one I finally do it to!

  13. I was going to say that this beautiful work of art is too pretty to hide in the bathroom, but then I thought of all the guests that actually do use the bathroom!
It would be a must in my downstairs half-bath that most guests use! And I wouldn't mind having one upstairs just for me!

  18. oh my. that truly is spectacular. i have a friend that is an artist working with mosaic, i'll have to tell her about this artist as well. i also love when artists hand paint a rug, fools you, as it is supposed to. :)
