  1. You just triggered a trip in time, in my memory's mind. My Father dragged me from the last day of Kindergarten, on a road trip to meet my new step-Mommy...who's name is Candace. He had seduced her into living in a trailer park, and living a life on the laundry line, with an apron uniform and a pleasant smirk. I spied right through this scenario, and told her so. I told her, I expected more of her. She soon left him to become a lawyer and re-marry her old sweetheart.

P.S. I tossed up my Summer supply of cherries all over him and his bumpy, VW Beetle ride. Surprise! We girls always prevail. ;P

  27. I'd love to have a little caravan like that, if only to park out beneath the palms for afternoon naps... & to escape football on tv.

  33. Had to include your caravan pic on my blog (www.ginghamdaisy.blogspot.com) too. Isn't it just gorgeous. (Put a link in too as I love your blog) Found you via Lily G's blog and thank goodness I did. I am now going to go and pull those blue fold up chairs out of the bin after I picked them up from a verge collection and paint them just like I'd originally planned. You have me all inspired again. Thank you...
