Coming Up Roses

This is one of my all time favourite tear sheets inside my scrapbook. It is from Home & Antiques magazine. I love the "overuse" of the floral theme here. Something as simple as that magazine rack would be the inspiration for the entire room for me.
I collect old floral prints and adore how they are used here. Maybe you have an object that you love that could be the inspiration for you to bring a room to life like this.

  10. It's great! Half of those roses would be too many, but somehow when you add even more it goes from being fussy to fabulous.

  23. The roses are beautiful! Roses to you are like paisleys to me. I have them in every room and struggle not to buy anything with a paisley on it, no matter how ugly!

  25. That's a very pretty, very 'make yourself at home' room! I love it!

Over the years I have found many 'little' things of interest that I have turned into whole decorating schemes (much to my husband's dismay!). Inspiration can be found in bits and bobs anywhere!

    All the best,
    Eileen
