I am aware that everyone knows that red and white make pink. Right? But I just had to share one of my all time favourite images to remind you! I bought this old Richard Scarry Book at an op shop / thrift store for 50c last year and it is my favourite vintage children's book that I own. In particular I love the section in the book explaining how colours are made. It's just so pretty. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteOH! I had forgotten about the wonderful illustrations of the book I own (mine from when I was little), Richard Scarry's Best Little Story Book. I think that's the title anyway. My favorite segment (next to the colors) was always where a little bunny had to clean her room and hang up her clothes. So much for little one's eyes to see! Now I want to go to my bookshelf and get it and browse through...thank you for the reminder!!
ReplyDeleteHi Simone-
ReplyDeleteI just love the illustrations of Richard Scarry. They are soo cute and colorful. I can understand why you like the pages with the color mixing so much.
We have an old "Golden Book" where kittens mix up the colors the same way. I guess it was a good way to teach it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
