Take a look around my garden this morning. New passion fruit on my vine, roses about to bud and flowers a bloom everywhere. It feels like the first day of Spring! What a beautiful morning. I am looking forward to a new week ahead. Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Hi Simone love the garden - such a beautiful time of the year to be living in Qld.

ReplyDeleteHappy Mother´s Day!
Who'd have thought it was winter? Your garden is looking lovely! I love the magnolia - I am hoping to get a flower on my little white one this year. It's a gorgeous day here too so I think I'll go out and plant more bulbs and do a bit of tidying up.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Your garden looks beautiful Simone. And are those magnolias I see? I must show my mum your pics, when we moved from Sydney she left behind a twenty year old magnolia that flowered profusely every year. She does have some here in Brisbane, but it's a battle to keep the possums from eating all the buds! K xx
ReplyDeleteIt's so strange to see you guys going into colder weather!
ReplyDeleteOh the advantages of living in sunny Queensland! Gorgeous magnolia.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely garden you have! Really jealous about the passionfruit vine, nothing like fresh fruit. I hope you had a lovely weekend :) Hazel
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a green tree snake hanging down in the 3rd pic! Hope you had a lovely Mother's Day!

ReplyDeleteThat's what I love about Australia, it's still sunny regardless of season and it still looks like summer with all the burgeoning flora and fauna!
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Winter oh yea! Been here done that.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great.
We've had more like fall weather this weekend

ReplyDeleteLet's thank all that gorgeous rain that we have had this summer and our beautiful mild days... cold snap is on it's way though, which will be a nice break from the humidity! Your garden is as pretty as a picture. A-M xx
ReplyDeleteSame here in the supposedly cold Highlands - it's warm and balmy like late spring! Leigh
ReplyDeleteyes thankyou Simone. Your garden is certainly pretty. The weather is mad at the moment I don't think the plants know what time of year it is, it certainly isn't like Autumn. We are off to Tasmania on Friday and have packed all winter clothes, I am having second thoughts about that I think we may need T shirts.
ReplyDeleteAh beautiful Simone! Sadly my garden isn't looking quite so good! x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! We have flurries of snow forecast here in the North of England! Brrrr. But I did notice the lovely pink flowers on my Quince yesterday, and the grass was being cut so the smell of spring/summer was in the air for a short time!
ReplyDeleteoh don't simone- my garden is at last starting to bloom- hence the gorgeous new vase purchase in yesterdays post...{£1 by the way - oh you would love the thrifting over here!!}

ReplyDeletekeep forgeting that your seasons are the other way around!
ReplyDeleteOur yard is showing signs of blooms, since we are heading towards summer. I've enjoyed your summer blooms while it was cold here...
ReplyDeleteFirst glancing at this post, I thought "Winter?? Is she crazy?!" But then I saw how you live in Australia, and I felt like an idiot! :p
ReplyDeleteCrazy how the world works; you're entering winter, and we're welcoming the summertime!
Such gorgeous photos, Simone! xxoo :)
ReplyDeleteAnd here we're facing summer. Your blooms will soon fade for the season, and mine will be scorched by the Texas heat! So enjoy them until the chill sets in.
