I can't remember the last time I sat down and wrote a letter or message on a card and sent it to a friend or relative. Terrible isn't it. These wonderful cards from larkmade are just making me sing today. They are also giving me some inspiration to get my pen out and make some time for this sometimes forgotten ritual.
What fun cards. I have been thinking I should write a few letters - some beautiful letterpress stationary would be nice too :)
ReplyDeleteThey're adorable! I love to both send and receive written correspondence. It seems so much more special nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this thoughtful reminder. I have a couple of notes I need to write :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
these are fabulous! Larkmade is an absolute treasure chest of fun x
ReplyDeleteI haven't done that either in ages. Sad that we get away from such personal signs of expression, isn't it?

Very cute! What fun it would be to get one of these in the mail. I agree, the art of letter/card writing is fading in favor of email and texting. Every now and then it just feels good to sit and write out a card!
ReplyDeleteooh la la! I like! :) It is so fun to get a handwritten letter in the mail, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Pretty cards - ideal for a short note. As you say a lost feature of modern times!
ReplyDeleteThose are tooo cute.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!

Oh Simone..these are just gorgeous...the Ooh La La is something I say alot...when something is just so scrumptious...cards are a nice thing to receive...especially when they are unexpected..and for no specific occasion other than to say hi. Hope you are well sweety x
ReplyDeleteHi Simone! These are adorable! I don't write either but these might make me want to! We just got back from our trip to orientation. I had a great time but my daughter's going to have to get used to being alone. It's going to be hard. I love all your recent posts and can't wait to see what's been keeping you so busy! Take care!Jennifer:)
ReplyDeleteIt is a sometimes forgotten ritual... I also think that it is more than a ritual.
ReplyDeleteHand writing is slowly becoming a lost art... and written history is more easily deleted now.
lovely post
best wishes

ReplyDeleteI love writing cards and letters although I do it less and less, I have a tradition with my best friend from high school and we always send eachother cards for birthdays and wedding anniversaries. We love to pick the nicest ones we can get to make it extra special.
