Over Easter I spent some time at work and at home. A good balance. At home we live by the tides. I always love coming home and seeing what the tide is doing and whether or not I can squeeze in a swim or a canoe ride with my daughter. Lucky for me I got the chance to do so. Hope you all had a great Easter.

Yeh.. looks so fun! I can't wait to go into the ocean as I head down South this week!
ReplyDeleteglad you had fun!

Hello Simone, I have still been reading but not commented for a awhile. Sounds like you had such a calm and loving holiday You deserve it. I was so inspired by all the work you did at the time of the floods. Pity I dont live in Brissie to hop into your shop.
ReplyDeleteI used to live in Patonga in a tiny old fibro. Everytime I came around the bend at the top of the hill, my mind would check out the tide. It paced the rest of my day. Our canoe is still chained on up Patonga creek. A little reminder to keep going back.
xo have a good week

Spending time by the water is the best way to relax and you have the most beautiful home right on the water....perfect for sneaking in a little relaxing when you can. Happy Easter Simone.

Nice to hear you had fun. :) I would love to have a canoe ride or a good swim, but because of the colder weather these weeks isn't yet possible. Lucky you. :) Have a nice week.

Hi Simone-
ReplyDeleteTotally envious - I dream about being able to jump in the water and kayak on a whim - lucky you - someday for me. It looks like the perfect way to spend some time with your daughter.
My best- Diane
How special to have the sea at your doorstep like that!
ReplyDeleteAh bliss, looks fantastic!! SO thrilled to have spied you at work & done shopping at your fantastic store. I went back on Sunday, it was an oil cloth emergency, i couldn't leave Qld with out some of every single print you have. Love it. Oh & jewellery. Now i'm kicking myself i didn't pick up a dress & kaftan now, argh!! Love Posie
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Look at you! Cool pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm jealous! I miss being by the coast so much! Though canoeing would probably lead to drowning where I'm from, it's far too rough, Your Easter looked like lots of fun xxx
ReplyDeleteLooks like THE perfect way to spend your time. Bliss.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have those choices. We spent time with a friend and her family on the lake last summer in New York. The kids had such a great time in the canoes (even when they flipped them :) and on the paddleboats. In fact, we didn't hear from them for hours ... just the sound of laughter and talking between friends. Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday. Tammy
ReplyDeleteThat looks like alot of fun! xxoo :)
