Project Day: Studio Sofa Revamp

As you know, I am giving my studio a makeover. This week I decided to recover my old lounge sofa that I got from the refuse centre for $20 last year. It has been sitting up there for ages doing nothing! I just covered over the top of the original cushions with some mismatched floral fabrics. Easy side stitching and rope ties. I have some leftovers of these fabrics: buy here
Covers for covers as my mum would say!
Have a great weekend.

  16. I was wondering how you would be able to trump the beachy look of the blue and white stripes but you have. I love the makeover, very pretty and whilst mismatching cushions and fabrics all go really well together. Your studio is going to look beautiful!

  20. Simone your sofa looks amazing...I adore the fabrics you used and am totally loving the mismatched cushions :)

I brought an old sofa earlier this year that I am itching to recover but the back cushions, although individual, are attached so I am not sure how I am going to tackle it just yet...any suggestions?

    Happy weekend to you.
