Day 20 - Taking Ellie to Lunch

Here I am at Sirromet Winery today, my family treated me to lunch for my birthday. Took Ellie for a drive in the sunshine. Had a lovely lunch. Have a great weekend. Simone xx

Day 19 - SCORE!

Strolling past my neighbours house I saw these 2 chairs on the back of his truck, ready for the dump! I asked why on earth they were being discarded. "You can have them if you want" was the reply. Yes Thanks. Now they have a new home on my side porch.

Day 14 - Op Shop Time

Always time for an op shop whilst on holidays. Check out this shop at Ulmurra! There's my daughter helping me find treasures inside. Found heaps of linen including these vintage table cloths. Also my niece Rose standing by an old shed out the back of one of the op shops. What a beautiful fun day.

Day 6

Set the table for lunch today at the holiday house. Polka dot candles and lanterns from Ikea. Lavender is from the front garden at the beach house. It's everywhere! Love it.

Freshly shucked oysters from the Wooli river and my favourite drop. Perfect.

~ The Month of Simone ~

Is it selfish to claim a whole month as your own? And to name it after yourself? I got this idea from a friend last year and I have been planning it ever since. You see she turned 40 and took a month off and claimed it as "the month of herself". Now it's my 40th Birthday and I am doing the same. I am so excited. I have a few weeks booked in a beach house in Northern NSW and then off to Hamilton Island with my girlfriends. Blogposts over the next month will be images from "The Month of Simone".
