I am on Stradbroke Island off the Queensland Coast, Australia. I am staying at my friend Jody's beautiful holiday house. There is so much inspiration here. Everywhere I look there are colours and textures which delight my senses. I find inspiration in the funniest places. The colours of ice cream, the monotones of sea shells and the delicacy of a hibiscus flower. Here's what I am loving today.

    Oh, I want that table! That perfect shabby table! And that box of shells! Believe it or not, I'm coveting them more than the biscuits and I love to eat sweets!

    oooh - I have the same sofa as your friend - bought it when we lived in Queensland! It's the big olivey-green one and I luuurve it but haven't got room for it in England so it is split into three parts like a jigsaw puzzle.
