Once upon a time there was a little lolly shop in Richmond Tasmania named Sweets & Treats. It was full of the most delicious things to eat, that was until a customer by the name of Simone visited and bought everything in sight. But could you blame such an act by a desperate sweet-aholic? Was it the store owners fault for displaying such wonderful tempting things this way? Which ever, it did not matter. Cobbers were stuck in teeth and sticky fingers were abound. And Simone lived happily ever after. So what's your favourite sweet?
Ohhhhhhhh, my idea of heaven! I LOVE candy! You'd think I'd grow out of it...but it hasn't happened yet! ;)

Hi Simone, we stayed in Richmond a few years ago at my friends B&B the town is gorgeous although cannot say I saw this gorgeous lollyshop - wish I had. Sandy

I too have visited this shop - and done lots of damage to their stock! My favorite sweet growing up was always a humbug, but nowadays I am a sucker for a proper English Jellytot or a handful of Dollymix. Is the RIchmond maze still a popular attraction?

Well I can't go past chocolate, but my favourite candy is toffee bon bons.
ReplyDeleteI love DARK CHOCOLATE.... almonds, cashews... so cover those nuts w/chocolate and I am a happy camper.. Also dark chocolate all by itself..

ReplyDeleteMy FAVORITE sweet shop is in St Augustine, FL...Savannah Sweets. They make the very best pralines I have ever tasted!!! These confections are jam-packed full of pecan halves.Whenever I am in ST A, that's my first stop...and my last, before I return to the west coast.

ReplyDeleteso pretty! I can't pick just one, but there is a fab candy shop near me that sells the most delicious chocolate dipped apples. They cute them up for you to eat nice and neat. Yum.
