My vintage swan vases. I bought the large one some time ago but I found the small one just recently. Now I think they look like mother and child. I just need some more flowers. As if I haven't enough already.
They are a lovely twosome and the sweetpeas set them off beautifully. I have just completed by coffee table project covered in treasure map pvc inspired by your blog for my boys, always love following your updates.
Just spotted the photo of your swans in the side bar of My Life - My Loves. I am doing the flowers for a friends wedding in a couple of weeks and all the table flowers are going to be in mismatched china swan vases...I have been collecting them in car boot sales and charity shops all over England since February now. Glad to see someone else who appreciates them!
ooh, so pretty. maybe a tiny cluster of roses to match the porcelain one's on the swans. love them. i adore unique vases too, love looking at antique stores, flea markets, church fairs etc. for fun finds like that. oh...and the post below, that food looks to die for. i love italian anything. and i'm with you, i cannot cook either, so it does NOT seem easy to me. :) but i appreciate delicious food prepared by talented people like that.
Those are gorgeous! I have something similar, but it's swirled colored glass and the swan is more of a bowl. I wonder where it is? I haven't seen it in a while. ha!
What a great find!
