Apartment Therapy approached me last month for a home tour. I still don't know why but I didn't ask questions. As you may already know I had my backyard featured in June. Anyway, I had to send in 30 shots and they edited them down to 15. I am so thrilled. A big thanks to Jenny from AT. So now I feel completely exposed. But in a good way. Here's the link so come over for a look inside. Yipee !
You still don't know why??!?! So obvious....your place has so much style! Thanks for sharing it with the world!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty home you have. I love all those photos. Congrats on being in a magazine. You must be floating on air. How fun!!

Oh how fab Simone! I can't wait to see you in Inside Out or some other home magazine! I'll go and check it out and leave a comment there for you. It will be under Primrose I think. xx
ReplyDeleteSimone, congratulations on the home tour - your house looks sooo fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh, Simone, this is great! Kudos!
ReplyDeleteI love your home! It's my dream home!
I don't think I've ever seen your kitchen re-do ~ did I miss it?
You asked on my blog about my header, I have two blogs (a home project one, and a more personal one) and you've visited at both, so maybe that's why you thought it was new, but I haven't changed the one on that home project blog (Stick Close To Home) yet at all.
Anyway, thanks for all your visits and all your kind and positive comments all the time!
And again, CONGRATULATIONS!
I loved the pictures! Every one of them!
All the best,
Eileen
Just gorgeous Simone! In particular, those antique drawers, love ,love ,love!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so fresh and inviting!

It's funny they had you take the photos. I am doing slipcovers right now (a rush job, as it turns out) for a client who's home is being shot on 10 September for Better Homes & Gardens. They are sending a photographer from Iowa, not even using the local guy who does a lot of shooting for them.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your home being featured! I am going to look right now, but from what I can already see, I know I am going to love it!
How wonderful! It was so fun to see your home and I love the framed bathing suits and the chairs in your dining room!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Simone what a great honour - loved your pics of your home so vintage and gorgeous. Would love to see that kitchen though.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so comfortable, so charming... a place to love & to be loved.

I just saw this spread in Apartment Therapy with your blog linked ... about 3 hours ago, because then I came over here and read every single post. Fantastic! I love vintage/cottage style, but I'm also a bit of a minimalist. Having trouble reconciling the two in my own home, since vintage seems to require having lots of trinkets around.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, great blog - I'm bookmarking it!

Good for you Simone
ReplyDeleteYour home is unique and beautiful. I'm off to look. Happy Spring. x Julie
Your place is wonderful! I love the framed old bathing suits. What a neat idea.
ReplyDeleteSimone, your home looks just so gorgeous. So many wonderful details, it feels very high spirited! The side table with the shells in glass vases, lanterns, flowers and the ocean painting above, am totally in love with that. I actually have quite a similar painting in my bedroom. And now it's for hundreds (or thousands!) of people to see!!
ReplyDeleteOoo how exciting! The reason they asked wouldn't have anything to do with your stunning home and great style? Fantastic feature, congrats :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Congrats! Your house is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSimone, your place is so "perfectly vintage".
ReplyDeleteLove it.
...and thanks for stoping by my blog.
