I just couldn't resist. A vintage Sunbeam mix master.....in pink of course. Since I did my cupcake course with The Cupcake Company I have gone baking MAD. Before this beauty I had a terrible cheap cake mixer...... so I had to upgrade, right?
ps: don't forget tomorrow is Friday which = project day.

Oh, I am soooo jealous! My mom had this in avocado green when I was small. I'd love a sunbeam mixer, mine is a terrible handheld one that barely mixes boxed cake or brownies! Have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteAh! I love it! It's so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat is just fabulous!
ReplyDeletem ^..^

Hey Simone, very rare and hard to find these days. Yours looks in fantastic nic! Happy baking, you might want to look out for a set of plain white bowls to use all the time, or with little people, its annoying to damage a coloured bowl.
ReplyDeleteSimone,
ReplyDeleteIm still so disappointed! I was booked in to do the cupcake course July last year, but smashed my knee getting ready and missed out :( then the next time was during the week and I didnt get to go! It sure looked like fun.
Love the new mixer, its pink like mine!
Love your blog too
D
The vintage pink Sunbeam mixer is an absolute "score". Glad you got it for yourself. xoxo Vicki

ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty, love the colour. My mum had a jade green one and i remember it from being a child. In fact i am wondering WHAT she did with it and does she still have it?? Will let you know! Mel xx
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't know they came in pink. I am officially jealous. x
ReplyDeleteOh wow! What a pretty colour! I need to get myself a decent mixer - with all the baking I do, I still only have electric beaters that are hand held - not good when a recipe says 'beat for 10 mins'!!! Enjoy your new toy :)
ReplyDeleteMy oh my that's one beautiful mixer! Leigh
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness I'm pink with envy!!! I luv it!

Loooove the pink mixmaster. I have a white one, but it was my grandma's original one, with a record of all the times she oiled it. Plus manual and cookbook. It needs fixing though. Might move that job to the top of the list. Love the blog site. Kate
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI have my grandmothers vintage pink mixmaster S822356. It has been well used but is still working fine. Comes with large and small pink bowls plus black juicer. Large bowl has a hairline crack down side from chip on outer lip of bowl but it doesn't effect the usage of bowl. My question is the value. I want to sell it but have no idea what price to put on it. Could you help me?
Regards,
Heather
