I am currently on the hunt for some vintage style wallpaper. I am going to cover a back wall and make it a feature. There are so many different styles available. I had no idea of the range! Here are my favourites so far. Now all I have to do is choose one.........
all wallpapers shown from wallpaperdirect
Oooh I'm in love with the Seraphine one!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi sweet lady, 1 and 3 are my favourites, but it is a tough choice, feature wall is a lovely idea! If you get chance to pop over to My Passport to Style, I would love your opinion on my new website name. Sharon xx
ReplyDeleteI love the Seraphine one.
ReplyDeleteThey're gorgeous! I don't know how I' choose though I love the blue background in the first one. I'd love to wallpaper something but convincing the very blokey bloke would be very difficult!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the last one!
ReplyDeleteWow, Simone...they are all lovely beauties!!! But if I really had to choose I'd go with the last one "Eglantine". Charming. Sweet. Kisses!! Bela.
ReplyDeleteoooo, i love it! i like the 3rd and 4th. but i think the 4th is my fave. so delicate and sweet
ReplyDeleteLove the third one. I have bought wallpaper from www.fabricsandpapers.co.uk ( I think that is right??). They send samples really quickly and cheaply!
ReplyDeleteHi Simone, Trouble is how do you choose? My favourite would have to be the first image with the blue background. Very Cath Kidstonish and totally gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you decide in the end.

ReplyDeleteyou are always hunting.....some are just born hunters :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, these are all adorable! my favourite is the third one because I love cherryblossoms! I wanted one wall of our living-room decorated with a floral wallpaper so bad when we moved in, but I had to make some compromises with my boyfriend, what a bummer!
ReplyDeleteWow - some of those are simply gorgeous!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteit was GASP at first sight for me with the top image.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, YUMMY! Wish you were in the US so I could have access to all of those wonderful products you find and those magazines like Notebook! To die for! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you,

I once lived in a townhome that had the Eglantine wallpaper, shown in your blog, in my dining room area. The owners, from whom I was renting the townhome, had chosen not to paint the trim, but stained it a natural color. When I first moved in I thought the trim would have been prettier painted, and gone with the wallpaper better, but over time the stained trim grew on me and I ended up loving it and the wallpaper together.
ReplyDeleteThese you have shown here are lovely!
The third photo floats my boat!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Well, good luck with that! I'd probably end up with "vintage patchwork" since I would never be able to decide on just one!! ;}
ReplyDeletem ^..^
So many pretty options.I wish Id known about this site last week. I just purchased some wallpaper(at a seriously discounted price) from Graham and Brown but Im now wishing I had spent a little more and got exactly what I wanted. Sometimes my desire to be thrifty overrides common sense, hehe oh well. I love all of these options and I cant wait to see you work your magic.

ReplyDeleteOh I love the Miya print, happy picking looking forward to seeing what you choose! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been watching millie on Ebay in the Uk for £14.99 per roll what a bargain!
ReplyDeletehello Simone, Thanks for the link and I've spent hours on it. I love the first one and Eglantine the best. I want to buy both of them and do feature walls. Eglantine for my bedroom and the blue one for the kitchen. I also found another butterfly vintage inspired one that is perfect for my daughter's room. Now I just have to break the news to my partner as I already bought a couple of rolls for the walls but I prefer these! xx
ReplyDeleteps don't forget to let us know which one you went with.
