Happy Monday & Coastal Living Giveaway






In Australia it is still winter, so the cover of the latest issue of Coastal Living is making me crave summer right now. This issue is jam packed with coastal influences and I am loving the article " Before's & After's". Can you believe the transformations of some of these beachy homes? How ever do they do it?     Hi! Wonderful transformations! I don't live near the beach but I really love the beachy style and hope to transform my house into something similar as on those pictures. Yes, actually very nice to see such transformations are possible. There is hope for our house!

    It's amazing! Every 'after' looks like a completely different room and I think they are georgeous.
    Overhere we are in summer (the Netherlands) but it is raining and chilly, so a good time to sit down with a cup of tea and a book or magazine.

    The transformations are amazing. When we first bought our house 18 months ago I had to really convince my husband that it was worth it. All through renovations I kept pestering him with pictures of designs I wanted and the 'vision' of what I had in mind. It's a completely different home now and we just love it. It's amazing what you can achieve if you stick at.

    Summer is almost gone here in Norway. It's been rainy, but August is sunny and warm. August-October are my favourite months, so the best is yet to come. And - I'm getting married in September! I'm looking forward to the big day and to the honeymoon in Rome. :) :)

    Oh cool, picture 4, a few months back I pulled a bar chair out of someones trash like the one on the left. It was natural wood, unpainted, so I decided to paint it white and then distress it a little. Now I need to find a few more, but this is the first time I have seen them online, wonder what type of chair it is, what they are called, when they were made...does anyone know?
