I get instant connections with certain creative people. Something about their work draws me in and holds me there. This week I have fallen for Heather Bailey. She is a fabric designer [among other things]. Can you imagine creating beautiful fabrics like these all day long.............meanwhile reality has set in today. I need a coffee, have been up all night with thunderstorms and a terrified 5 year old! Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteI must have a cute bike basket like that! I would be smiling all over town with something that cute! Hope your storms have passed!
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of her so thanks for sharing Simone. It's all just stunning, a little Amy Butler. I'm off to investigate. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteMy, I love that cushion in the middle picture! Thanks for directing us to Heather Bailey's blog. On her flickr pages I discovered the colourful paper globes we always used to make when we were children.
ReplyDeleteHope the thunderstorms don't keep you from sleeping anymore. Poor little one.
We may be on the other side of the globe but it's been more autumn than spring here lately and we had some stormy weather with thunder at night too. It's been enough; I desperately need the sun again.
Bye,
Marian

ReplyDelete'Hello my name is Heather' was one of the very first blog sites I discovered back in 2006. She was fairly new then - had only blogged a few months, but I fell in love with her bright and vibrant creations.
ReplyDeleteI also love her husband Isaac's photography.
