Last year someone took a photograph of me that changed my life [see first photo on this post]. You see after I saw that photo I realised I needed to make a change. Prior to this my life consisted of mostly unhealthy eating [and drinking] habits. And it was starting to show. My goal was to lose 7 kgs. So I joined a gym in January and changed the way I treated my body. No drastic diets or fads, just plain simple healthy foods and moderate exercise. The next photo was taken this morning. 7 months after the first. I have lost 5 kgs and feel so much better. I also chopped my all my hair off. It was weighing me down! I am not far off my goal now.
Make the changes today that you want to see tomorrow.
Have a fabulous weekend.
Simone xx

ReplyDeleteHi Simone, good for you for losing 5kgs! You look younger now too. It's funny you should do this post as the same thing happened to me not long ago. We went away for the w/e, so many snaps were taken and I didn't like what I saw. I looked overweight and so old. So I am hoping to lose another 6.5kg. I have already lost 2.5kgs. I chopped my hair too.. so much better. take care, Maryann
ReplyDeleteCongratulations & well done!

Well done. Keep going. I had a similar moment a couple of years ago. I was one of those skinny fat people. You know people would never say I was fat but I could feel it. I just made small changes - a bit of walking, stop eating when I was full, stop snacking out of boredom. I lost 8 kgs and felt so much better for it. It's really important to do something for yourself. You deserve it.
